Stainless Steel 316Ti Bars and Rods consist of 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and a stabilizing amount of titanium (usually around 0.5%) to inhibit carbide formation. This alloy also has a maximum carbon content of 0.08%, which contributes to its excellent weldability and high-temperature strength. With a tensile strength ranging from 515–750 MPa, a yield strength of about 205 MPa, and Brinell hardness between 150–200 HB, 316Ti is known for its resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and scaling at elevated temperatures (up to 900°C / 1650°F), making it perfect for challenging thermal and corrosive environments.
