15‑7 Mo contains ~15% chromium, 7% nickel, and ~0.3% molybdenum, with minor additions of aluminum and titanium for precipitation hardening. In aged condition H900, tensile strength is 1,240–1,380 MPa, with yield strength of 1,090–1,240 MPa, and elongation of 5–10%. Hardness is 44–52 HRC. The alloy shows good ductility in solution heat-treated condition and superior corrosion resistance against chloride and oxidizing media. It is weldable and is in compliance with AMS 5643/5644 and ASTM A693/A693M specifications.
