They offer superior tensile strength (500–800 MPa) and resist pitting, rust, and stress corrosion greatly. Bars resist high temperatures and oxidation highly and feature good machinability and weldability. They have varying hardness based on the alloy, but it’s usually 150–300 HB, making them ideal for rigorous industrial, architectural, and engineering uses.
