In H1025 condition, tensile strength is approximately 1,000 MPa, yield strength ~900 MPa, elongation ~12%, and hardness approximately 42 HRC. Excellent corrosion resistance in marine and chemical environments and good toughness. Weldable and heat-treatable to high hardness without loss of ductility. Conforms to AMS 5609 / ASTM A693.
