The Stainless Steel 431 Hex Bar is a martensitic stainless steel alloy featuring a well-balanced chemical composition that includes about 15.0–17.0% chromium, 1.25–2.50% nickel, and a maximum of 0.20% carbon. It boasts a high tensile strength of around 850 MPa, a yield strength close to 620 MPa, and remarkable toughness after heat treatment.
