Titanium Grade 9 (Ti-3Al-2.5V) is a titanium alloy made up of 3% aluminum and 2.5% vanadium. It provides better mechanical strength than commercially pure grades while maintaining excellent corrosion resistance. The alloy has a tensile strength of about 620 MPa and yield strength around 483 MPa, with good ductility and weldability. Titanium Grade 9 is lighter than steel but stronger than most pure titanium grades, making it a great choice for applications that need structural integrity under stress.
