Louis Metals is a top supplier and producer of Titanium Grade 12 Bars and Rods in Houston, USA. Grade 12 titanium (Ti-0.3Mo-0.8Ni) is a corrosion-resistant alloy that is characterized by high strength, superior weldability, and superior crevice corrosion resistance in hot, acidic, and high-chloride environments. Louis Metals provides premium–quality titanium products that exceed the highest standards of specifications for industrial and chemical process applications. From small-diameter rods to large structural bars, our experts provide quick delivery, precision machining, and quality control. Count on Louis Metals for reliable Grade 12 titanium solutions for demanding working conditions.
Titanium Grade 12 has about 0.3% molybdenum and 0.8% nickel, providing better corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. It has high tensile strength (~483 MPa) and yield strength (~345 MPa), and also maintains good ductility and impact resistance. Grade 12 has excellent weldability and formability. Its high resistance to crevice and pitting corrosion renders it an ideal material for high-temperature conditions and aggressive chemicals, especially acidic and chloride-based media. The strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance of this alloy enable it to function well in industrial and marine environments.

Yes, Titanium Grade 12 exhibits remarkable high-temperature resistance, making it suitable for use in power generation and industrial processes that involve elevated temperatures.
Titanium Grade 12 Bars/Rods find extensive applications in chemical processing, offshore drilling, power generation, and heat exchanger systems. Their resistance to hot brine, hydrochloric acid, and wet chlorine gas render them suitable for aggressive chemical processing conditions. Grade 12 titanium is also appropriate for flue gas desulfurization equipment and seawater immersion because of its high corrosion and crevice resistance. Its high weldability makes it suitable for use in tanks, pipe, and structural items. Louis Metals offers this alloy in a variety of dimensions, prepared to satisfy the requirements of demanding high-performance industrial processes.
