Stainless Steel 347H Square Bars and Rods are columbium-stabilized austenitic stainless steels with 17–19% chromium, 9–13% nickel, and columbium (niobium) for intergranular corrosion resistance. With a greater content of carbon (0.04–0.10%) compared to regular 347, 347H provides greater creep strength and superior performance at high temperatures. These bars have a tensile strength of approximately 485 MPa, a yield strength of 170 MPa, and an elongation of about 40%. The square cross-section provides equal strength and stability and is appropriate for structural use and components demanding close machining and thermal stability.
