Aluminium 1050 is more than 99.5% pure aluminium. Its tensile strength is fairly low (~100–150 MPa), but it is highly ductile, corrosion resistant, and reflective. The metal can be readily cold worked and forged into complex shapes. It is not proper for high-load usage but is reasonably good in low-stress, high-corrosion or conductive conditions.
