Stainless Steel 316 Hollow Bar is an austenitic chromium-nickel-molybdenum stainless steel with a composition of about 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum. Such a composition improves resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, especially in environments containing chlorides.
