Stainless Steel 316Ti Forgings are composed of 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and a small amount of titanium (at least five times the carbon content) to prevent carbide precipitation. With a carbon content of up to 0.08%, 316Ti offers improved strength at high temperatures. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength ranging from 515–750 MPa, a yield strength of about 205 MPa, and a Brinell hardness between 150–200 HB. 316Ti excels in resisting corrosion in chloride and acidic environments and can endure prolonged heat exposure up to 900°C (1650°F) without losing its structural integrity.
