Louis Metals stands out as a top-notch stainless steel manufacturer and supplier based in Houston, USA, proudly providing high-quality Stainless Steel 316Ti Forgings tailored for demanding industrial needs. This titanium-stabilized variant of 316 stainless steel is celebrated for its remarkable resistance to high-temperature corrosion and impressive mechanical strength. Our 316Ti forgings are meticulously crafted to adhere to strict industry standards, making them perfect for applications in chemical processing, marine settings, and high-temperature environments. With a strong commitment to quality, precision, and customer satisfaction, Louis Metals ensures that every forged component meets exact specifications, delivering performance, durability, and reliability across essential industrial sectors.
Stainless Steel 316Ti Forgings are made up of 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and a touch of titanium (about 0.5%) to stabilize the structure and prevent carbide precipitation. This alloy boasts a tensile strength of around 515–750 MPa and a yield strength of about 205 MPa, along with excellent creep resistance at elevated temperatures. The addition of titanium enhances stability at high temperatures, making it perfect for long-term use in tough environments. 316Ti also excels in corrosion resistance, particularly against chlorides and acidic conditions, while still offering good weldability, formability, and durability under mechanical stress.

Stainless Steel 316Ti Forgings are perfect for applications that demand exceptional corrosion resistance and high-temperature strength. You’ll find them in heat exchangers, pressure vessels, flanges, fittings, and reactor chambers within the chemical and petrochemical industries. They’re also commonly used in marine environments, aerospace, pulp and paper processing, and pharmaceutical equipment due to their resistance to pitting and stress corrosion cracking. Thanks to the titanium addition, 316Ti maintains stability and performance even in the harshest conditions.
