Stainless Steel 904L round bars contain 19–23% chromium, 23–28% nickel, 4–5% molybdenum, 1–2% copper, and low carbon (<0.02%). They exhibit tensile strength of up to 710 MPa and yield strength of approximately 220 MPa. The alloy is magnetically non-reactive and shows exceptional resistance to crevice, pitting, and stress corrosion cracking in acidic and chloride media. It retains high strength at high temperature and is weldable and formable with ease.
