Stainless Steel 310S Round Bars and Rods are produced using a low-carbon form of 310 stainless steel, which contains about 24–26% chromium and 19–22% nickel. This alloy exhibits high resistance to scaling, oxidation, and corrosion in high-temperature service. Low carbon content results in improved weldability and absence of sensitization. These bars have a tensile strength of approximately 520 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of approximately 40%. The Stainless Steel 310S is non-magnetic when annealed and resists structure loss and toughness even in high-heat and cryogenic service conditions.
