321 Stainless Steel Rectangular Bars are austenitic stainless steels, stabilized with Titanium, having Chromium (17–19%), Nickel (9–12%), and Titanium in the ratio for controlling carbide precipitation. This alloy provides a tensile strength of 515–750 MPa and a yield strength of approximately 205 MPa, having excellent creep resistance and decent toughness at elevated temperatures. SS 321 is non-magnetic in the annealed state and offers satisfactory corrosion resistance, especially against intergranular attack. The alloy also has high strength and stability under long-term exposure at elevated temperatures and is thus used for welding and thermal cycling applications.
