Copper C11300 has around 99.5% copper with around 0.5% lead, with good machinability and moderate tensile strength. The alloy has tensile strength of around 230–310 MPa and excellent fatigue strength. It maintains high thermal and electrical conductivity but at slightly reduced levels compared to pure copper grades. It cannot be welded but is well suited for brazing and soldering processes. The addition of lead also improves its application in machining operations at high speeds.
