Louis Metals supplies high-conductivity C11000 Copper Bars and Rods in Houston, USA, ideal for electrical, architectural, and thermal applications. C11000 is also referred to as electrolytic tough pitch (ETP) copper and is among the most widely used copper grades because of its high electrical conductivity and formability. Produced to stringent ASTM B187 and B152 standards, these rods provide durability, machinability, and corrosion resistance, making them a popular material for power transmission, bus bars, and electrical connectors.
Copper C11000 is 99.90% copper with superior electrical (up to 101% IACS) and thermal conductivity. It possesses tensile strength of approximately 210–250 MPa and can be cold worked for added strength. It is not suitable for welding, though good for brazing and soldering. Its weathering, corrosion, and fatigue resistance are very good, particularly in clean atmospheres. It is highly ductile and well suited for applications involving massive forming and drawing.
