Copper C10500, or Phosphor-Deoxidized High Residual Phosphorus Copper, has approximately 99.7% copper and 0.02–0.05% phosphorus. It provides intermediate electrical conductivity (around 90% IACS), better weldability, and superior corrosion resistance. It has tensile strength of 230–270 MPa, yield strength of around 90–110 MPa, and elongation of 35–45%. It is of Brinell hardness 55–65 HB. This alloy is non-embrittling and suited for brazing and soldering operations, making it reliable for plumbing, tubing, and gas handling systems.
