Copper C10300 or Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) is 99.95% minimum copper with less than 0.001% oxygen content. It has high electrical conductivity (≥100% IACS), good thermal conductivity, and very high resistance to hydrogen embrittlement. It has tensile strength of 220–260 MPa (annealed), elongation of around 45%, and Brinell hardness of around 50 HB. C10300 conforms to ASTM B170 specification and can be welded and brazed. The high purity of the alloy and lack of oxides make it perfectly suitable for use in applications demanding higher conductivity and lesser contamination.
