Super Duplex 2507 is comprised of about 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 4% molybdenum, and nitrogen, which increases the pitting and crevice corrosion resistance. The microstructure of the dual phase (ferrite and austenite) enhances structural integrity under stress and exhibits high resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking.
