Forged in accordance with ASTM B408 and AMS 5912 standards, our forgings of high integrity are offered in sizes of customer choice and tempers. Incoloy 925 composition consists of Ni ~40–44%, Fe ~29–34%, Cr ~19–23%, Cu 1.5%, Mo 2.5–3.5%, and Ti/Nb additions. It provides tensile strength ~620 MPa, yield strength ~230 MPa, and elongation of ~50%. Hardness in annealed condition is approximately 200 HB. The alloy has superior resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, pitting, crevice corrosion, and sulfuric acid. The alloy maintains mechanical strength at 350 °C and complies with ASTM B408 and AMS 5912 specifications for critical-service forgings.

The ideal temperature range for forging Incoloy 925 is between 1,800°F (982°C) and 2,200°F (1,204°C). Forging should be done within this range to achieve optimal material properties and avoid overheating.
Incoloy 925 forgings require minimal maintenance due to their excellent corrosion resistance. Regular inspection for signs of wear, cracks, or environmental damage is recommended to ensure long-term performance.
Incoloy 925 forgings have limited high-temperature strength beyond 1,600°F (871°C) and may suffer from reduced ductility in extreme conditions. They also exhibit moderate resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in highly aggressive environments.
Incoloy 925 forgings are utilized in chemical process equipment, heat exchanger tubes, pollution control scrubbers, and seawater valves. In oil & gas, they‘re utilized for pump shafts, rotating equipment, and wet-stack components. In sea coast chemical plants, they‘re used in pickling and brine systems. Flue gas desulfurization units take advantage of their corrosion resistance. The alloy is chosen for marine fasteners, condensers, and marine aerospace hardware.
