Incoloy 825 contains Ni 38–46%, Fe 23–30%, Cr 19.5–23.5%, Mo 2.5–3.5%, Cu 1–2%, and Ti small addition. It gives tensile strength ~655 MPa, yield strength ~275 MPa, and elongation of about 35%. Hardness in annealed condition is ~200 HB. It gives very good resistance to reducing and oxidizing acids, chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking, and general corrosion. The alloy is stable up to 500–600 °C, and the mechanical integrity is good and adheres to ASTM B408 forging standards.
