Luois Metals distributes Incoloy 800HT forgings originating from Houston, providing altered Incoloy 800 with elevated allowable operating temperatures of up to 925 °C. Fabricated according to ASTM B407/B434 specifications, our forgings can be furnished in fully heat-treated conditions, ready for high-temperature use. 800HT has better creep-rupture strength than standard 800, without compromising on oxidation resistance. Luois Metals offers precision-fabricated components for petrochemical, power generation, and industrial furnace industries, along with QA testing and fast turnaround.Louis Metals is the leading manufacturer and supplier in Houston, USA. We, at Louis Metals, have a commitment to excellence in the supply of premium quality products, including Incoloy 800HT Forgings. The Incoloy 800HT Forgings are substantially made of austenitic iron alloy and are known for their exceptional strength, good oxidation resistance, and high-temperature stability, making them perfect for demanding applications.
Incoloy 800HT has Ni 30–35%, Fe 39.5–44.5%, Cr 19.5–23%, stabilized by Al & Ti. Provides tensile strength ~620 MPa, yield ~245 MPa, and elongation ~40%. The alloy has superior creep resistance over normal 800 at 850–925 °C and is resistant to thermal fatigue. Hardness is ~190 HB in annealed state. Engineered to retain mechanical properties under sustained high-temperature duty, and to ASTM forging specifications.

To determine if Incoloy 800HT Forgings meet your specific needs, assess their high-temperature resistance, oxidation, and carburization properties against your application requirements. Consulting with a supplier for detailed material specifications and testing options can also ensure compatibility.
The ideal temperature range for forging Incoloy 800HT is between 2100°F (1149°C) and 2300°F (1260°C). This range ensures optimal workability, mechanical properties, and maintains the material's strength and resistance to oxidation.
Temperature control is crucial for maintaining the desired mechanical properties of forged Incoloy 800HT, as overheating or insufficient heating can lead to reduced strength and ductility. Proper temperature management ensures optimal grain structure, resistance to oxidation, and overall performance in high-temperature applications.
Incoloy 800HT forgings are employed in furnace components, heat exchanger headers, petrochemical reformer tubes, and nuclear steam pipework. Their improved creep strength and oxidation/creep resistance qualify them for use in industrial furnace muffles and superheater coils. They are also highly regarded in power generation in boiler superheaters and reheaters. In petrochemical facilities, they serve in reformer tubes, cracker coils, and catalytic reactor internals. Incoloy 800HT ensures long-term reliability in high-temperature, high-stress conditions.

We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
