Serving Houston, USA, Louis Metals is a reputable manufacturer and supplier of high-quality Nimonic 90 bars and rods. High-strength nickel-chromium-cobalt alloy Nimonic 90 was created especially for use under harsh stress and temperature conditions. It is perfect for nuclear, turbine, and aerospace applications because of its exceptional resistance to oxidation, corrosion, and creep. At Louis Metals, we offer precisely engineered Nimonic 90 products that satisfy exacting performance standards and international specifications. Our commitment to excellence, robustness, and client satisfaction guarantees that customers will receive high-performance materials made to survive the most demanding operating conditions.
About 58% nickel, 19–21% chromium, and 15%–18% cobalt make up Nimonic 90 Bars and Rods. Titanium and aluminium are added to improve precipitation hardening. This alloy has a yield strength of about 700 MPa and a tensile strength of over 1000 MPa. Up to 920°C (1688°F), it retains exceptional mechanical qualities. Nimonic 90 has good weldability and outstanding resistance to fatigue, oxidation, and creep. Because of these characteristics, it is especially well-suited for parts that are exposed to high temperatures and severe mechanical stress.

Yes, Nimonic 90 bars are highly suitable for high-temperature applications. They are known for excellent strength, oxidation resistance, and stability at elevated temperatures, making them ideal for aerospace and turbine components.
Yes, Nimonic 90 bar can be welded, but it requires careful control of heat and welding parameters. Typically, TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding is recommended for best results.
Nimonic 90 rod is available in various sizes, typically from 1/8" to 12" in diameter. Common finishes include cold drawn, hot rolled, or bright polished, depending on the supplier.
Many industries use Nimonic 90 Bars and Rods because they need materials that can withstand high temperatures and stress. They are perfect for combustion chamber linings, jet engine parts, and turbine blades in the aerospace industry. The alloy is also a popular option for high-temperature fasteners, exhaust valves, and nuclear power systems due to its exceptional creep resistance. Heat exchangers, gas turbines, and other vital pieces of machinery in the petrochemical and power generation sectors frequently use it. Long-term performance in harsh service conditions is guaranteed by Nimonic 90’s high strength and oxidation resistance.
