1008 Round Bar is a low-carbon steel that contains about 0.10% carbon, 0.30–0.50% manganese, and trace amounts of phosphorus and sulfur. Typically, it has a tensile strength ranging from 305–450 MPa, a yield strength of around 170 MPa, and a Brinell hardness of about 95 HB.
