Inconel 600 contains Ni 72%, Cr 14–17%, Fe ≤8%, with minor traces of copper and manganese. It provides tensile strength of ~620–890 MPa, yield ~270–420 MPa, and elongation of 30–40%. It has hardness in annealed form as 105–195 HB. Mechanical properties are maintained under long-term service up to 1150 °C and it resists carburization, oxidation, and chloride corrosion.
