Tantalum R05255 Rods and Bars are made of around 99.9% pure tantalum with traces of tungsten and other elements to enhance resistance to certain corrosive atmospheres. The bars are excellent in corrosion resistance under harsh acids and oxidizing environments. With tensile properties from 200 to 350 MPa and a melting point of 3017°C, Tantalum R05255 rods exhibit superior thermal stability. They also have high density (~16.6 g/cm³), good formability, and resistance to oxidation. Their excellent mechanical and thermal properties make them suitable for the high-performance applications under harsh conditions.
